Garlic pasta

  • 1 package of spaghetti
  • 2 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 2 cups of grated ripe tomatoes 
  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • pecorino or parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste 
  • fresh or dried oregano, basil or a mixture of fresh herbs

Cooking time: 15 min


  1. Boil salted water and add the spaghetti.
  2. Cook the spaghetti al dente (cooking tip: add some olive oil while the spaghetti is cooking and it will never stick together). Drain. 
  3. In a saucepan add the oil and garlic, the tomatoes and bring the sauce to a boil.
  4. Add the spices to the mixture and pour over the spaghetti.
  5. Stir and serve.
  6. Sprinkle with olive oil and add pecorino or parmesan cheese if desired.
